16 – 17.10.2018 – Conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Vienna Declaration on Nursing with International Participation

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (3 August, 2018 No. 492) The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation together with the Federal Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization holds the Conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Vienna Declaration on Nursing on 16-17 October 2018 in Moscow, Russia.

The Vienna Declaration on nursing in support of the European goals for health for all is one of the of WHO's key guiding documents for heads of national health services including nursing services around the world. It has become one of the turning points in the development of nursing in the WHO European Region since the 1990s to today, based on the principles of the Health for All policy.

The main objectives of the meeting are:

1. The role and place of specialists with secondary medical education
   in the modern system of public health and the strengthening of public health.
2. Expansion of the functional responsibilities of the nurse: international and Russian experience.
3. Training of specialists with secondary medical education: professional standards, accreditation of specialists, continuous medical education.
4. The role of medical professional non-profit organizations in raising the prestige of the profession.

We pleased to invite to participate in the Conference heads of regional health authorities, head specialists in the management of nursing activities in the subjects of the Russian Federation, chief nurses of medical organizations, directors of educational institutions of secondary professional and pharmaceutical education, deans of faculties of higher nursing education, leading experts in practical public health in the field of nursing assistance organization to the population.

Participation in the conference and sessions is free of charge.
